The L.C.A.B. / THT Transfer Window Thread ....

As there seems to be nothing happening at Everton,we might as well talk about Liverpool.I wonder if the suggestions we hear that Torres is interested in going to Chelsea forced the Liverpool board into signing Suarez.Players from the Dutch league have a very mixed record in the English and other stronger European leagues. The player did well in the World Cup,but a once off tournament like that can be deceptive.

Regarding the comments of David Moyes about transfers.
It sounds as if Everton have made their proposals to certain clubs and players and are now forced to wait and see if there is any movement between now and next Monday.
A lot happens in the last few days of the window,David Moyes probably was sending a coded message that whatever we have propsed wil not be improved upon.I tend to agree with LCAB that we will see something happen before the window closes.

Likely that the board are seeing if we have an FA Cup run on our hands, they'll allow Moyes a loan on that basis. If we go out tomorrow I dont think there'll be anyone in.

This is the state we're in with this shower of ****e in control.

Players going out
No one coming in
No money
14th place
Closer to the relegation zone than Europe
Moyes fed up with the board more than he's ever been (would he quit?)
Only left in one competition; one in which we must now face the holders in
Best player out of form
No strikers
No consistent formation
Kenwrong silent
Even Phil Neville's wanting to jump ship...

On a positive note, I just found a fiver in my pocket.

Mail it to Moyes. It'll be 5 more than he has in his warchest.

Jelle Vossen's name as popped up again - http://www.fansfc.com/story/29140.html

Will be utter rubbish as it says Genk have quoted us £4m to sign him.

And reading from this, Moyes was at the Celtic game wednesday apparently watching Izaguirre - http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport...-but-neil-lennon-looks-to-add-depth-1.1082459

Cant really see it myself, we dont need a back-up LB and tbh, he's too good to be a back up from what ive seen. Maybe he was keeping an eye over the likes of Templeton of Hearts, he's been getting rave reviews this season?.
