Can't be any worse than Anichebe. At least he has scored more than 5 goals during the last three seasons. Looking at Vic's stats they really are bad;

Games: 119 (77)
Goals: 12
Yellow cards: 11

Did you just make that up?

Anichebe hasn't even started 50 games for Everton, and half of the games he has started have been on the wing.

Wiki says he's played 91 prem games, 118 games in all comps, scored 7 prem goals and 12 in all comps.

Anichebe has to go, he offers very little.

His goal scoring record is atrocious not to mention his attitude at times.

For such a big man, he goes down like a cheap whore...its embarrassing.

Hopefully some nextman outfit like QPR or Norwich will offer something over 3m and do us a huge favour.

I pray Moyes continues to cut off the deadwood in an attempt to raise money for some quality additions.

NZogbia is the one we need, he'd transform our team.

I can't see any Premier League manager, having watched Anichebe's performances over the past couple of seasons, feel that he's a worthwhile signing. I'd imagine we're stuck with him until his contract runs out.

Can someone cut together a YouTube clip of all of his best bits (there was one game in the UEFA Cup I think) and we'll email it to everyone and get them thinking he's a superstar. Everyone looks good in their video showreel

*3 mins of Vic falling over and moaning whilst lying on the floor*

Didn't he sign a new one earlier this season at the same time as Coleman? Can't see Moyes wanting to shift him too quickly. We're probably stuck with him for a good 3-4 years yet.

Yeah. He had a hissy fit, signed a new contract and has been in the main gash since.

It's bizarre. He's got all of the physical attributes to be a great hold-up striker, however doesn't seem to put them together.
He does play far better wide right though, possibly enjoys the opportunity to get his legs going before he encounters defenders, it's more quick feet than pure acceleration which will get a striker through/round a crowded penalty box. Must be even more frustrating for Moyes than it is for us as he's obviously seeing something in training which ensures his selection.

The problem with Vic the way I see it- is that the awarding of the contract last season was in no way a measure of Moyes faith in his ability, moreso to protect the club from losing him for just a training fee this close season. Now you could say 2nd half of the Citeh game apart his value has probably dropped further to potential suitors; coupled with his wage circa 20k to 25k- all but the richest Championship clubs couldn't afford him on their wage bill and why they'd want him anyway I don't know. On current form he's not shooting any team to the top of their division. In the end whilst far from a Gosling situation it will have to be far less than Vaughan's fee if he does move on.
