To be fair to Victor last preseason, and the back end of the 09/10 season he was playing really well on the right hand side. I think the injuries he's had last season really affected his fitness which he took ages to regain. I wouldn't mind seeing Vic given a chance on the right again - but this is not to say that I wouldn't love us to sign some proper wingers!

And for those in doubt of Beckford, I'm sure he'll come good (or better even since 10 in his first is pretty dang good) the coming season.

Now, what can we do about this Ba debacle!?

First post by the way, been a lurker for some time but the off season seems a great time to step out of the woodwork.. Go LCAB and THT!

There are a few different levels when trying to sign a centre forward( miracles apart) 1, 20+ goal a season man who in 2011 you have to pay about 50-70 grand a week too , 2. A 10/20 goal a season man who you will have to pay around 20-35 grand a week too , it's not rocket science if you want a Demba Ba or a miroslav Klose you have to pay the money if not you can't come out saying "we have better than bothroyd already at the club" , otherwise you end up with no one and go with Saha , Beckford , and anichebe, for me it stinks of last year and previous years , don't be shopping in harrods if you haven't got the money , look at championship players and league 1 , who you'll be lucky to get 10 goals out of

He's added starts and subs appearances up to get back to that 119 figure, the rest of the figures are correct.

What i'd like to see is his assists as well as his goals. There's this myth floating round that he's a good wide man, but I don't remember if he's even made one assist.

Physically, the lad is immense. He should be a monster. But he just doesn't have the heart or the attitude for me.

Aswell as adding lots of sub appearences to that figure, and making no mention of the fact that's played outwide in about twenty of his forty odd starts for Everton. I don't mind constructive criticism, but it does annoy me people twist things to suit there argument. Pure hate isn't good for anyone.

As for Victor's abilities as a wide player, I wouldn't say it's a myth. He's had some very decent games out there, and has caused opposition teams problems. But he has a style, and his style isn't going to be focused around crossing or making that final pass. When he played on the right for us he was holding the ball up, making intelligent, diagonal runs from right to central positions, and generally bullying opposition fullbacks through pure power and athleticism.

That's not me trying to make him out to be a world beater, he's far from it, and not the long term answer by any means, but I have no doubts that he's done fairly well out when he's played. Stoke, Villa, Liverpool, Fulham, Birmingham, West Ham and even the second half against Manchester City towards the end of the season.

Anichebe has to go, he offers very little.

His goal scoring record is atrocious not to mention his attitude at times.

For such a big man, he goes down like a cheap whore...its embarrassing.

Hopefully some nextman outfit like QPR or Norwich will offer something over 3m and do us a huge favour.

I pray Moyes continues to cut off the deadwood in an attempt to raise money for some quality additions.

NZogbia is the one we need, he'd transform our team.

Unless you are black, using that word you should be ashamed of yourself. So funny white people in Luton talking about 'badman tings' and 'lets get on a hyyyype ting bruv'. Ahahaha!

So am i right that from what i've read talks will take place tonight? and LCAB please tell me that if the negotiations fall through plan b does not involve messrs. Klose, Bothroyd and Mackail-smith, they would really not do the business in the prem, Klose at one point in his career but not now.
