The Kenwright Generations

Very occasionally something happens with Everton and people remember/realise just how massive we could be. It’s very rare these days. I can’t put my finger on what that thing might be, but you can feel it. I want that feeling much more often. I’m bored of mediocrity. I want to be excited by my team. I want to see attacking football and having a go at every side no matter who they are, big or small.
I agree wholeheartedly with the opening post of this thread which is why I was gutted when Moyes was appointed because I knew it would pan out this way. Just doing ok. Not bad, not good, just doing ok. Not exciting to watch, just ok. Sometimes good sometimes bad. Nearly getting somewhere but never getting anywhere. Cmon ffs, grow a pair, have a bit of ambition and let’s move on from Mr Average and try and find our General.

Kenwright!!! Thank God he finally went to that stage in the sky. Thankfully we don't have the Bill Kenwright Stand. He never had the cash, but he never wanted to walk away. It made him important!! I feel so sorry for all Evertonians under 40. Even in the seventies when we won nothing, we felt we could win things, the stadium was still a good stadium. My hope now is this generation of fans at a brand new ground see us really compete again and win something.
