Right - i love Johnny H.

I think he should start every game (not in midfield mind you FFS). I know he won't and that annoys me.

I like how angry he is. I like the fear I get every game that he is one tackle away from being sent off. I like how he actually passes it from the back, most times. I don't even mind those ridiculous runs up the pitch he makes with no regard for his defensive duties. I like how much he uses Twitter.

I like Johhny H.

*note, I won't mind if he gets sold for £10m in Jan.

I must be bucking the trend here cos i just dont see him as a way forward. we have done the "dogs of war" thing, we have done the tommy graveson angry midfeilder, and he just isnt savvy enough to play CB. to my mind you need to be able to read the game around you and never switch off to be a top CB and i've seen too many occasions when he gets "caught" by quicker thinkers. A squad player maybe first team if we have other injuries. you cant even say he sweats blue blood, sorry not for me better players around him.

Nah you're not bucking the trend mate. I'm very much in the minority with my love for him.

And I don't agree with your 'not savvy enough to play at CB' things. He's far more savvy than Distin and than Jags has shown this season. You don't play in the World Cup Final and for Ajax and Athletico (although he was not great at Athletico) if you're not decent.

I do agree with your midfield comments there.

It's all opinions though and it seems Moyes shares your point of view rather than mine.

Think he should play every game. Even in midfield. We need people like him snapping at people and getting angry. Every other team has them, we're just too nice. We get ****ed over by referee's all the time in favour of horrible little pricks like the one's Liverpool have in their team. I mean they'll say Cahill and Fellaini obviously, but Fellaini's quite placid and will occasionaly put in a minging challenge coz he's retarded that way, and Cahill's not particularly dirty- he's just annoying for the opposition.

wtf is going on though when a wc finalist can't get a regular start ? he's getting on with it though, I know there have been rumours in the past but it really wouldn't surprise me if he asked for a move, and I don't think any of us could blame him either.

I agree mate - if I was him i'd be fuming at the chances he's not been given - I know he's injured at the moment but still.

But he just gets on with it always Tweets positive stuff about us too.

Wouldn't blame him at all if he requested a move.

Strikes me as (with the greatest respect) being a bit thick. He's like a rugby forward minus the cauliflower ears, getting stuck in on the field (apart from when he fannys out completely a la Blackpool) lacking a bit in the brains department. Seriously, he makes Beckham look smart. He's, in my opinion a very average footballer and not someone who's mature or brave enough to be a "leader" in our side.

As much as I enjoyed his nudge on Ashley Cole (I mean, I LOVE Jonny for it) it showed the type of sportsmanship that suarez displayed and I wouldn't want that type of player having a leader's role in our team. Neville is twice the man as far as leadership goes.

Heitinga hasnt got the savy of Jagielka and Distin and I wouldn't even have him on the bench , he's another one similar to jack Rodwell in the sense of, he gives the team nothing , thinks he's Beckham and every pass has to be 30 yards +, and ****'s out of 50/50 tackles, he's also no where near good enough in the air to play centre half in the premier League , he maybe ok in Spain where the ball is mainly on the deck 80% of the time , I would take 5 mill 2morrow if it was to be reinvested to the team

International football in world cups , and going to Stoke City on a cold winter's night is as chalk and cheese as your likely to get , it becomes so different to the point it's like two different sports , Heitings maybe good in Italy or Spain but sadly not for the premier league where including Everton most teams play everything long which Johnny's weak point is heading the ball

What's with all this "he's angry, gets it peoples faces and gives the team a bit of bite" b*llocks?

He's a poser, he shat out of the confrontation with Gerrard and god knows how many tackles (the Blackpool one still gives me nightmares) since.

So what if he can pass the ball out from the back, so could Per Kroldrup.

You're joking. Right ? I mean, you have to be. There's no way anybody could say something so stupid and be serious.
