Go back to sleep lad , I was calling you Roysten Drenthe ,

I don't watch Dutch football but I presume playing in the Ajax side he did , the ball very rarely left the floor , Johnny is very competent on the ball and I imagine would have suited playing in that Ajax side but as I said I don't watch Dutch football ,

But just because he was adored at Ajax is another throw away comment , Andy Van Meyde was adored in Holland and was absolutely ****e , Thomas Rosicky was worshiped at Broussia Dortmand and is a bench player at Arsenal , all these points are irrelevant , in England the first thing you need as a centre half is the ability to defend set Pieces , Heitinga can't as he proved many of times last season , but like I said it's all about opinions don't say to people their stupid if they don't agree with you because it won't get you far .

Nowhere in this thread did i call you stupid, i said you made a point which was stupid. Don't accuse people of doing things they haven't, because it won't get you far.

Distin and Jagielka are better central defenders than him.

He is crap at right back and in midfield.

Saying that, if we don't start keeping clean sheets then he'll get his chance. Jagielka hasn't been at the races this season.

Ultimately, he'll get sold soon enough.

That will be the third time you've disagreed with me this week. Just cause my dad's massive like.

My dar's big but pretty placid, so I best start agreeing with you, you beast.

This was my dad when i told him that i said he'd beat your dad up:

Pretty much sums it up tbh.

I think Johnny is by far a better CH that Jags, even during Jags purple patch he was still making the gaffes like when Arsenal beat us 4 - 1.

But that besides the point really, because Jags could continue playing this badly all season, he wont get dropped, will be promoted to skipper and Moyes will reject a £20 mill bid for him, and then we will have no dough for the areas that really need improving. Not that he's got favourites or anything

Disagree with you there mate, when both playing as they can Jagielka is the far better defender. Heitinga often gets caught out with his positional play and lack of pace, having Distin is a good fall back for that though.

When they were both having their best run of games for me Johnny was more impressive, and he helps our play in general. I understand the argument for preferring Jags, though as good a lad as he seems, I personnaly dont rate him all that highly. My main gripe is that Moyes will stick with him no matter how poor his form, when the likes of Johnny could have one bad half of football and be banished to the bench for a month.

Fair enough mate, opinions and all.

Remember when he was ace? Yeah, I liked him then, the forgotten man for me since that time though. Too expensive to be sat around. I've said it a few times before, all the credit goes to Distin here I think, he was not in the plans to be so awesome. It wuz Distin

To be honest mate, i never thought he was that good especially at the back, i thought he could do well in the centre - but he just didnt develop there or play to his full potential - i dont think he has the mantality to get any beteer either - he thinks he is brilliant.

behave mate, he was absolute quality the one season he had a run at CH, an he hasnt been given a realchance since to develop there, anyone whoever thought he was a CM doesnt know the lad

Why is he still here? We don't even use him. He won't have lapses of concentration like distin and costs us goals. He is in the starting side for Holland, one of the top international teams and he can't even break into our team sheet and were just a mid table team. Makes no sense, i wouldn't be surprised if asked for a transfer in January. FFS
