I agree with Heitinga. I appreciate his no fear attitude and he knows that Moyes has been wrong on many occasions this season. Just cos he played well for a few games last season at CM didn't mean that he'll be boss forever.

You want good quality players then you need starts or semi starts. Heitinga is a WC finalist and a quality player who needs to be managed well so that you can bring out the best in him. Look at all the big clubs, the likes of Harry Redknapp etc, they know how to work with top players. You don't just show them attitude or play them to their weaknesses but you use them effectively and bring out their potential.

Heitinga is CB and yes he does win his headers against great strikers, he nailed Drogba at GP. So stop ****ing around with him by playing him in midfield but give him chances to play at CB. I know Jags and Distin have been consistent but even they have leaked many goals this season so why not give Heitinga a shot now towards the end of the season. It doesn't really matter cos we hardly have anything to play for.

when we can afford to have a squad with a couple of players for every position, fine ,until then,PLAY WERE YOUR TOLD, simples.

Your bang onTX BILL,do your talking on the pitch, hes an ok player, should just keep his opinions to himself.

Thanks.

For me, he, not Pienaar, was our player of the season (no disrespect to the season Pienaar had) and had me drooling at times over his play.

This year, ah, not so much.

If there's no one to play at a certain position then I don't even mind Hibbert playing CF but there have been times when Heitinga has played over Rodwell. That doesn't make sense. No doubt a player will lose his CB's touch after playing at CM where he's obviously uncomfortable.

And yes, he has been playing where he has been told. It's after almost 2 years since he has joined us that he has disclosed his displeasure. So IMO, the lad has honestly tried his best to deliver where he has been asked to do so but upon numerous failures he has decided to let people know who have been judging him for his out of position performances to not judge him the way they have been cos he wants to show his game at CB.

I dont and never have seen it with him even last season - i dont rate him if im honest at CB or DM.

Neiler.

He was our top player last season. Absolutely stellar. The only debate is whether or not Pienaar had a better season than he did. I don't think he did. Heitinga was great for us.

Fair enough, he always stated he wanted to make that CB spot his own, and thast was the most important factor in his decision to sign for Everton. Prove it on the field, that you're number for that spot however, instead of blabbing to the media about how poorly you have been treated. Poor old Johnny, can't feel an ounce of sympathy for such actions.

Facts are, he couldn't make the CB spot his own at Athletico and now failed to do that exact same thing again at Everton. But hey Johnny, just go on and blame the manager.
