Fair play to him, don't mind a bit of passion. And if he has faith in his ability, you want that competition for places and he does have a point. Most of our players aren't experienced at the the end of football.

He'll be sold in the summer like, but it's showing up why we can't keep hold of good
talent or keep good talent happy because were not playing in Europe or fighting for champ league spots. It's gonna be a tough summer to get good players in IMO

It's going to be tough to get any players. No money! :(

It's a difficult one really.

The only way he'll be helping his cause with ourbursts like that is if his cause is angling for a move...

But why is he clearly angling for a move? Can you sympathise with why?

I can to be fair. He's not playing. He's struggled to get into a side who are struggling. It must be difficult for a player who reckons he's on a par with the Worlds best.

Are we, or David Moyes, unable to deal with a certain type of player? Is this why we fall victim to 'Nice guys finish last' syndrome?

Heitinga is a winner, make no mistake. He wants to play and when he does he plays to win in any way that he can. We desperately miss that at times. Penalties at Chelsea...

I said a while back on here that if he makes Goodison his home, he could easily be a cult hero. Could we have we helped him make Goodison his home? Or is it him? Why did A.Madrid bin him off so quickly?

I don't know. But it's worrying that it's not 'easy' to slate a player for an outburst like that.

Totally agree.

I've said we need his type of player in the team and squad, a snide/rat who wants to win at all costs.

Yak couldve done the same thing and piped up for being dropped after looking back on form, but he didn't and he's been shipped out. Bilya too is just waiting to be shipped off but is doing it the quiet way.

But moyes can't deal with egos IMO.

Cheers Welts. I'd of deleted them sooner mate, but can't get out of mobile mode to delete the posts.

Pas de probleme, it's about time my ban hammer was dusted off :P

Anyway, if Heitinga seriously thinks he's one of the best 22 players in the world then he's an idiot. What a ridiculous thing to say. Cya later Johnny, won't be at all sad to see him go.

Think Heitinga should take a long hard look at himself. 2nd choice at Athletico and 2nd choice at Everton. And only in the Dutch national team, because we don't have talented defenders like Frank de Boer, Jaap Stam and Frank Rijkaard coming through anymore. Matbe that should tell Johnny 'Mr Bighead' Heitinga something, but hey, it's always easier to criticise the manager, than to show some self criticism.

On the other hand, in one of his interviews, directly after signing for us, he made clear he moved to us, because Moyes more or less promised him a CB spot. Made a remark about that at the time, saying I could envisage him, causing problems if that didn't work out. However, it's mainly his fault, he couldn't make that CB spot his own.

Get him out in the summer and spend the money on someone who prefers to let his feet do the talking, instead of gobbing of every few weeks. Bye, bye Johnny, I won't miss you.

I'll be amazed if he's not gone in the summer, and will be equally disappointed if Moyes puts him in any starting eleven for the remainder of the season ahead of any promising fringe players who desperately need a run out, not banking on the latter happening though.

Finally , someone with sense . lol

Look you can love him all you like but he has not been better than Jags this year, and Jags has spent a large part of the season playing with an injury.

I have written on this before, but he is the biggest disappointment to me this year. At the beginning of the season I couldn't wait to see him paired with Jags at Centre Half, but he has been poor when he has played there. He has missed tackles, Blackpool was embarrassing, he has consistently played the ball across the field, sideways not forwards, and put it straight out of play, and he has consistently been out of position when the opposition have played balls in from the wings.

Jags is the best defender at the club, period, he may not be the best distributor but his long balls are derided as lumps forwards and Jonny's are passes. Both have hit the target and missed the player this season but one is derided and the other is lauded.

On top of this Jags also organises the defence, you can see him doing it for England now as well, and we miss him when he is not on the pitch.

In LCAB's Sunday Sermon on Tony today he rightly picked out the qualities of both Tony and Jags that I believe make an Everton Player, even before Jags arrived at our beloved club. Jonny, unfortunately, has shown little of this and personally I find his outbursts both embarrassing and laughable.

Rant over!!!!!

Jags has been below par this season. He said in an interview that the medical team told him that, after such a serious injury, it will take a season to regain his form. That being said, there's not a lot in it between a crocked Jagielka and a fully-fit Heitinga. If Heit was as good as he thought he was, we'd have some player on our hands. Unfortunately, his attitude is the antithesis of the Everton Way and in many ways he's more of a hinderance to the team than a help. I don't mind him mouthing off in the press if it prompts a big money transfer. It would be in the best interests of the club and the player if he gets the move that he wants. I don't think it will be too long before he got found out at Bayern though. If he was capable of being a World class player, but just wasn't showing up for us, we'd have seen a different Heitinga for Holland. He was no great shakes for them either though during the World Cup.
