Well I can see where his frustration's coming from. He's been used less than his first season, and not had a proper run in the team all year.
But he really does overestimate his ability. Jags is the best CB we've had at the club in my lifetime, and Distin's a candidate for player of the season (second only to Baines, for me). Moyes has been right to play Distin and Jags when possible, as they're the best we've got and have backed that up with the performances.
However what's to say they wouldn't have similar aggravations if they were on the bench all the time? I watched an interview with the Yak, talking about how happy he was at Leicester to be playing every week. He looked genuinely upset when talking about being on the bench each week. And the Yak is, imo, and awesome, awesome guy. He's always smiling, he's a character and from what I've learned, the players all love him. So if being on the bench can affect him like that, then to someone with an ego, like Heit, well... this was inevitable.
That said, he's shown no respect to the club by coming out like that. Refusing to play a position, too, is disgraceful. He's angling for a move, and I'd happily oblige.
Dag, Johnny.
