I swore I weren't gonna get into this with you , tbh , but actually I agree .

HOWEVER , IF said player(s) HAVE MADE UP THEIR FUKN MIND - do you need examples ??? , then it's like trying to push a pebble up hill .

MY point was , it wasn't just y'day . If you hapen to se the Utd game again , check second half , as they swarmed all over us like the fukn Zulu's at Rourke's Drift , our Holandisch Hero , Our Enforcer , basically spewed it , 3/ 4 / 5 times , and just stoped chasing is man and passed him on .

Furthermore , y'day , when receiving possession consistently throughout the game , he would immediately play a wall pass to the original sender , IRRESPECTIVE of the sitruation , men on , position , touch line etc .

THESE were the foundation of my feelings . I REITERATE , I LIKE Johnny . But I ALSO REITERATE , I'll be here a LONG time after him , or me kids and nephew's will be . Thus , if he , or anybody else deems us below them , then let's get the best dal possible .

There , I've said it .

Of course if they've made their mind up, they've made their mind up.

But its the managers responsibility to make the players feel wanted. Moyes has even said its took him years to get out of the tough-guy "my way or the high way" approach...but maybe its still there in some respects.

Good lads who keep their head down and have the odd good game etc will be fondly remembered. But the players that are bell-ends but actually turn up and do the business on the pitch might not be liked by all...but they sort the men from the boys, the winners from the losers.

As for Heitinga and the points you mentioned...could he be de-motivated? Some players can take a world cup loss hard...hell grown men blub at the end of cup finals (see John "Im Engerluund f'rew and f'rew and double 'ard" Terry crying like a girl in the Champions League final loss to United). Add to the lack of leadership and encouragement on the field, wanting to play in central defence but cant with fans fave Distin in there...add to the losses and no end product with good build up -- it could be hitting him hard and effecting his performances.

End of the day...he's lost the biggest game of his career, got sent off, them comes back to his club side who are getting beat week in week out.

Someone needs to give him and the team the boost and shot in the arm it needs....dunno where its gonna come from though.

Fair enough . I suppose that is where your Manager earns his corn , I suppose .

I want no player who doesn't want to be here. The way we played yesterday, it was like MOST of them didn't care if they were here or not.

you cant blame the players for yesterday....Osman is shiite but tried his best, Beckford is shiite but tried his best, Distan is shiite but tried his best, Hibbert is shiite but tried his best...bit of a reccuring thing here...Heitinga is not a DM he is a CB, Fellaini is not an Attacking Mid he is a DM, that leaves us with Piennar, Arteta, Baines to try an make something happen....everytime they got the ball they where looking for passes but nothing was on....Piennar an baines marked out the game for the majority.

For me its not a lack of effort from the players its the managers fault for consistantly picking the osmans distans and hibberts of this world and playing people out of position all the time. He is NOT a good manager come match day, if Plan A does not work we a fkd!!!

Moyes must grow a set or fck off in my opinion, i thank him for the memories but he has taken us as far as he can go....!!!! People say there is no one better who will take control of Everton...I can think of 10-15 managers who are better and Everton would be a step up for them

I have always said he should be at CB with Jags as that is his best position. So why did Moyes buy Distin? and now play him at CB and JH out of position?

So Yakubu are you also saying the Manager is [Poor language removed] but tried his best??????

Not really no. i am saying David Moyes has taken us as far as he can...

He is limited come match day, he has assembled a great platform for someone to come in and take Everton on to reach the potential of the current squad Moyes assembled.
Moyes is not the man to do this.

My point about the above mentioned players being shiite is they should not be starting in our 1st eleven week in week out. Moyes is the man who picks them week in week out...It is not through them players giving a lack of effort thats the problem, the problem is they are not good enough to make a difference, we have better players in the squad that moyes overlooks or plays out of position week in week out to play these players....

My Point is Moyes' lack of balls or ability to change a game is killing us.
He is the one who should be the point of focus, not the players "lack of effort"

Everton v Manchester United 2009/2010 season

Gosling on as a sub. Goal.

Rodwell on as a sub. Goal.

Everton v Liverpool (FA Cup 2008/2009 season)

Van Der Meyde (pisshead) On. Assist.
Gosling on. Goal.

Grow a set indeed.

Its time the players grow a set in deed and put a challenge in AND make sure when they shoot it put their foot behind it so it goes in (Osman) and pass the ball to their team mates!

Take the last game of last season. Heitinga comes on as a sub, gets an assist. Bilyaletdinov comes on as a sub, gets the goal.

Sometimes subs work, sometimes they dont.

What I wont deny though, is that Moyes got the starting line up completely wrong.

Yeah I agree. People have read some deluded criticisms on Toffeeweb etc and this anti-Moyes brigade's PR campaigns rolling.

Nonsense though.

Osman should NOT have been on that pitch on Saturday.

His hands on hips moment too - and his body language. Terrible.

But it happens. Doubt it will happen again soon though - Moyes will get tough.

Those with an agenda for getting Moyes sacked can **** OFF
