We do need another RB though, and he can also play centrally - i'd rate him above Yobo at least. Probably be cheaper than most british options.

SSN reports Athletico has flat out denied receiving any bids for Heitinga or that Heitinga is going anywhere.

As usual, grasping at straws with the rumors. The more one takes a look at Heitinga, the more one realizes that this would never happen - he just signed for Athletico last year for 10 million - Everton aren't going to pay that kind of scratch and he's only been there a year. Add Athletico's upcoming CL campaign, would be foolish for them to send him off even though Athletico are carrying nine defenders on their first team roster.

L.C.A.B. taps nose . I heard this earlier , and I hadn't seen us linked . Now , apparently we are . Though I was told Cahill was priority no.1 , the price means it's a no-go . Thus , this cat is next cab off rank , or so I believe .
Still , at very early stages though , I think .

I'm glad we don't splash a lot for him, I think he's overrated, not bad but just not woth the money and he might struggle in the premiership.

Two seperate deals , I think . Two different lots of parties , i.e, dough requirements , etc .
Benega is STILL mad keen , or was , as of yesterday , so , dunno about Heitiga , which would be a purchase , but he's defo after cover / assistance for Arteta , thus , Benega is stll a runner . Moreover , unlikely as it may seem , the two are possibles .
My money would be on Benega only at this stage . Heitiga is too early to say .
