Andy Johnson = £8.6m

12 goals.

James Beattie = £6m

11 goals.

Jermaine Beckford = NOUT

10 goals.

Stop dithering and play him in a 4-4-2 more often and you'll get 15, made up for him.

Those stats don't tell the full story, because AJ and Beattie played every available minute - Beckford has been cameoing off the bench nine times out of ten.

He'd have netted around 18 as a first choice striker I reckon. If he's used properly, after a full pre-season and a campaign in the top flight under his belt, he's a definite 20+ goals a season candidate.

I reckon 10 goals. Sparingly used as a sub in the 2nd half of the season once Saha is injured and Yak is off to the ANC.
