Am off to Nijmegen in Holland next week with my nephew to do the 4 Daagse, my 6th time his first. Really looking forward to it, wonder how far I'll get on the crutches (see my pics and you'll understand)

Hilbre Island mate. It really is wonderful The Wirral, will be out and about sampling the greatness of it all tomorrow.

The girls in my life have all gone shopping today and my son is at my Mums, its been a great day so far.

I had intended taking my nephew, we'd trained, then I bust my fibula and dislocated the ankle. 5" plate, eight screws and a pin holding the foot onto the leg. Don't want to dissapoint the lad so have done a bit of upper body work and will attempt the walk on crutches.
Have a pic pf my xray in my pics. Makes good viewing.
