We've celebrated the footballing life of one of the greatest players to ever score on the green green grass of Goodison Park. In 2001 a £75,000 sculpture of the late grate Dixie Dean was erect, with applauses from Toffees everywhere.

I sat down today watching a Sky Anytime programme that showed Denis Law, and in his segment I saw a trinity of Best, Law and Charlton outside Old Trafford.

I thought to myself, is it time to celebrate three of the greatest players EVER to play in England?

Colin Harvey - Made 320 league appearances for the club, sat in the midfield and created so much for the attack to score off.

Alan Ball - World Cup winner, 208 league appearances for the club in blue. Sadly passed away in 2007. Never forgotten

Howard Kendall - 229 appearances for Everton, but more knowledgeable he also managed the club into its most successful period ever.

So does anyone else agree with this proposal?

Agreed la ......

Great Idea they deserve it,the memories came flooding back to a great era in our history

"Holy Trinity". Very offensive to Christians and uncalled for. Say what you like against me, but the point is valid: no need for blasphemous terms. It's only football, after all.

How can this be blasphemous? These men are the greatest men to walk the earth.

Followed by Chuck Norris, Johnny Heitinga and Jesus H. Christ.

My dad raves about them - wish I could have seen them. Maybe I can find some DVDs somewhere. It's always good to know about the legends though.

I hope your on a wind up mate..

If not what i want to say i will with out doubt be banned for....

So i'll just go for "you ultimate weapon".

What your saying is blasphemous to our wounderful club.....

Which is far more important that religion, which is a pile of [Poor language removed] anyway...... God & Jesus....hahahaha MUG!!!!

Back on topic it would be great to have some tribute to our own holy trinity. Great idea 25 I hope this happens. Three of the greatest players ever, they deserve their own corner of our ground.

They were our greatest midfield trio ever, i wouldn't mind seeing some form of tribute to them put somewhere.

I hope our current Holy Trinity of Arteta, Cahill & Pienaar (Johnny H if he leaves) do the business and we bag a trophy this season

Everton is the club I support, but it's not my religion. I'm a Christian, so yes, it offends me. I've always hated that reference to those players, despite Howard Kendall ending up as a family friend. I just don't see why it's necessary to be blasphemous about it, and I'm disappointed but not too shocked at some of the vitriolic reactions on here.

Im sure if God had a problem with it, he would let us know.

If you trully believe in a God, you would know he is all knowing and all powerful, so if he had beef, he would DOS attack the site, im waiting.

Allah Achbar.

Your fake God disgusts mine.
