We've celebrated the footballing life of one of the greatest players to ever score on the green green grass of Goodison Park. In 2001 a £75,000 sculpture of the late grate Dixie Dean was erect, with applauses from Toffees everywhere.
I sat down today watching a Sky Anytime programme that showed Denis Law, and in his segment I saw a trinity of Best, Law and Charlton outside Old Trafford.
I thought to myself, is it time to celebrate three of the greatest players EVER to play in England?
Colin Harvey - Made 320 league appearances for the club, sat in the midfield and created so much for the attack to score off.
Alan Ball - World Cup winner, 208 league appearances for the club in blue. Sadly passed away in 2007. Never forgotten
Howard Kendall - 229 appearances for Everton, but more knowledgeable he also managed the club into its most successful period ever.
So does anyone else agree with this proposal?
