Why ? he comes across as a buffoon, and it would be great to see him give a completely differing view from Corbyn over Brexit or trying to explain how they will get a deal then campaign and vote against it.....

He's far too slick an operator for anyone in the cabinet. He's streets ahead of them, and in truth the majority of the Labour Party.

Its also against EU law, which they want to stay in, but that fly in the ointment was dismissed by saying they would get the EU to change their rules, cos climate change is really really important.
