The sheer amount of working class Tories is absolutely staggering.

We are seeing the result of letting all those Poundland hitlers like Yaxley-Lennon, Hopkins, Farage and co. go too long unchecked whilst they cosied up and campaigned to the disenfranchised people in these long dead satellite towns.

These places that were long time Labour or Lib Dem constituencies owed mostly to their treatment by the Conservative governments of the 80’s and early 90’s. Closing down the mines, factories, dock lands etc.thus crippling the economy of these places (especially some of the small Yorkshire towns)

Somehow the rise of right wing divs pretending to be allies of the working class, have convinced many in these places that the reason their job opportunities are limited and local businesses are struggling is because of immigration, Muslims and the EU and not decades of the Tories strangling these places into a managed decline.

Like the pits are going to magically reopen if we leave Europe...

The irony is, it’s the people in these small towns who will be hit worst by another 5 years of Johnson and co.

Turkeys voting for Christmas... at Christmas...:(
Leigh, an old mining town and formerly a traditional Labour constituency is now in the hands of the Tories... I’ll say no more.

Well atleast brexit will get done now, then all the Labour voters can get back to voting Labour next time round when Austerity continues for the next 5 years.

would have won mate, brexit when put to the voting public,(not the internet world,) is a winner, referendum won , Bexit party stormed the european election, tories jumped aboard a proven winner and romped to victory.
meanwhile i was backing a donkey in the last race ridden by a fella with more in common with Don quixote than a champion jockey.

Can't agree with this any more.

I work in digital/social - social is a massive, massive bum steer.

We stand alone at the Tory dawn, man the baracades...
its like Thermopylae we are there standing are ground facing massive odds in a futile battle, when some wooly back that's swapped sides will show them the way around are defences, and we get webbed all over the place, but do it gloriously fashion.
They never will kill the spirit and pride of the scouse spartans.
