Aye, train fares are sound in this country, we should just leave it.

Train fares over here are pretty cheap. Although the railway eats about 15% of general taxation, your personal allowance is €5000 with everything at 20% after that up to €20,000 when you'll be getting pinged at 35% then it goes up in increments until you'll be giving the government 50% of everything you earn over €36,000. You'll pay for it one way or the other, I guess.

Emissions duty goes into the central pot, just as every other tax does. No tax is specifically funding particular things.
Vernation of Budgets Bruce is the correct terminology in Local Government they have to be justified road tax is sod all to do with Train fairs, its Labour moving money around incorrectly robbing Peter to pay Paul brilliant economics =Not by Labour that's why they cannot be trusted to run the country.....

Pothole, and road building will suffer , but shush, don't let the public know that vote for mcdonnell and Corbyn who I would not trust to run a bath........

If there is a genuine plan to slash rail fares in a way that isn't 1. Sacrificing jobs and skills in infrastructure or 2. Piles of borrowing I'd be all for it.

Theres an answer here somewhere... but it's not a popular one.

I can safely say that we are about 6 months away from you admitting that you made a terrible mistake Joey.

Lets just hope you can type it.
