I haven't said anything about taxing the rich, and am merely commenting on the suggestion that their broadband strategy could be funded by ensuring the tech companies pay the tax they owe is fantastical.
Under current legislation you probably have a point but I think there will be different legislation if Labour win the election. I think the amount of tax tech companies will have to pay will change drastically, there might even be a retrospective charge to take into account the length of time they have been paying next to nothing.

That would be ludicrous, though they didn't actually say that their broadband strategy would be solely funded by ensuring the tech companies pay the tax they owe.

Good, neither do I...It’s a question of who can beat Corbyn, a man that will ruin the country. Boris is the only one with the charisma to do it....

That sounds much like the Labour side saying that they can only win with Corbyn and his policies. All wrong imho. It's not difficult to see:

Cameron > Brown (But not by a huge margin and helped by the fact after 3 terms in office the public start pushing for a change)
Cameron > Miliband (Can't even eat a bacon sandwich FFS)

May > Corbyn (Despite her going AWOL)

Johnson = Corbyn (Two leaders who are focused on helping one set of supporters on opposite ends of the scales and think elections are won on who can hand over the most money)

If Labour had a likeable moderate that didn't scare off the centre as much then they would romp home against Johnson. If Hunt had won the contest then Labour probably don't get a look in.

Has anyone seen the full costings or are we supposed to take their word for it?

The differences are they are happy to bandy around figures but they have done the costings and the accountants have confirmed these will cost a lot. ;)
