Anyway, all this ’free’ stuff sounds wonderful. Mind you, I wonder how many of the 800,000 BT shareholders and those workers with Pension investment in BT shares will vote for Corbyn. I expect some clever people will be working this all out for publication shortly......

The shadow chancellor was on this morning saying that their shares would be swapped for Govt bonds. Paying a hefty 2%. BT shares yield is closer to 8%. Granted, the capital is guaranteed, kinda.

The thing is of course that many twenty somethings have no interest in Pensions, of course when they reach their late thirties and forties, it begins to register somewhat. I think that when all this ‘nationalisation’ is spelt out in pension financial terms then sensible people over 35 will be aghast that they are the ones paying for this ‘free’ internet......
