Bonfire night would be an appropriate day to hold the general election.

Summerisle, I just noticed 4 times as many Sinn Féin as DUP albeit that is 8 votes to 2.

However OUP not given as an option. Any reason? Unlikely to get much support from GOT posters I know given its very conservative tradition.

I just don't get it. The Tories have already given Labour so much to pounce on.They should be all over the doctored videos, BBC bias, Grenfell, Russian meddling etc, but they just don't seem to be capitalising on any of it.

Apart from Grenfell which is ongoing with investigations, thus not really up for public discussion... Dodgy videos, Russian meddling mean nothing to the general electorate, all fine discussion for the urban metropolitan elite round their dining tables wincing at Corbyn because their favourite wine is going to cost couple pounds more because of increase in Taxes... Corbyn will be out talking people like he is today with those suffering in flood hit areas, those votes matter.

Oddball Unionist Party

Official Unionist Party - official name is Ulster Unionist Party so UUP is correct.

It ran NI for decades. Prime Minister Lord Craigavon declared in 1921 "All I boast of is that we are a Protestant Parliament and a Protestant State."

DUP has eclipsed it since 2003.
