The Future (Thread)

Really good read as per usual from you. As someone said in another thread, we're almost in danger of becoming the Charlton of the Premier League. One bad season, and we won't come back.

My summer I would like to see would be something like this..

Outs
Jags out 8 mil (Spurs)
Anichebe out 3 mil (West Ham)
Cahill out 3 mil (QPR)
Yobo out 2 mil (Fenerbahce)
Silva out 1 mil (Braga)

Ins
Pienaar in 2 mil (Spurs)
Hooper in 4 mil (Celtic)
De Laet in free (Man Utd)
Rodallega in free (Wigan)
Jarvis in 4 mil (Wolves)

A Team
Howard
Coleman Duffy Heitinga Baines
Jarvis Fellaini Rodwell Pienaar
Jelavic Hooper

B Team
Mucha
Hibbert De Laet Distin Neville
Osman Barkley Gibson Gueye
Vellios Rodallega

Juniors Team
Davies
Browning Dier Bidwell Garbutt
Junior Forshaw Lundstram
Baxter McAleny Hope

It is probably unreal with our finances, but I can dream..

Even though we got beat today I'm strangely optimistic about next season considering we have Jelavic who is ****ing exceptional. However, I'm also pissed.

If we sign Pienaar and keep our main players then with Barkley coming through were only a couple of players away from being a very decent side.

Problem is that we can't afford the couple of players we need to step it up.

Got no future, only got ''if you know your history''.

On a lighter note, could this be Moyes' third transition.

if we do this or if we do that...

we are what we are top 5/8, and moyse deserves props for that

no one goes cinema and watches the same film every week tho

do they?

If the movie was One Night With Kelly Brook then I'd be buying the season pass.

Groundhog Day, not so much.

I just don't see where we are going to get transfer money from this season.

Rodwell - Out of the picture due to injury
Jagielka - Moyes favourite (I'd take £10m and run)
Fellaini - New contract, too important to us.
Barkley - Not enough first team time, unfulfilled potential.
Baines - Possibly, although i don't really know of any team who would buy him at this point in time.
Heitinga - Will be murder if he goes

Worrying.

If anyone offered £10m for Jagielka, I'd strap him to my back and carry him there myself.

Remember when we turned down £9m for Saha?

I love these threadfs wehn everybody plays Football manager and makes up transfer fees.

*waits for someone to put "sell Fellaini for £50 and buy Van Persie Xavi"

£10m for Jagielka, bring Duffy into the squad and then get hold of another young centre half (perhaps that Greek lad we were looking at in January).

Distin still looks perfectly capable to me, his mistake is irrelevant to his overall worth to our club. Him and Heitinga would be fine at the back for us next season imo.

Think the Greek lad pissed off somewhere else.

Oh FFS. Actually i think i remember that now, something about not getting a guarantee of first team football ?

Either way, i think losing Jags and getting money to spend on the other areas of our team makes sense. RB is such a ballache.
