It's not fact though is it. Explain how it's fact? That team should have easily turned Wigan over.

No matter how you look at Mucha I don't trust him to keep us in a game. I feel a lot lot safer with Howard in goal. You see Howard has respect. He balls at the defence. Haven't seen anything like that from Mucha.

It would be nice to think so....but in reality we have been beaten by quite a few of the teams at the wrong end of the table this year. We also went out of the League Cup to a lower division side and struggled against one in the FA Cup, needing a replay to get through. In fact, if we forget about the win over a below par Man U on the first day and we haven't actually been that outstanding, have we?

I agree with most of the post . Get rid of fellaini and then buy a replacement and some squad players . We also have money from january . So in reality if we sell fellaini then we should be able to get 1 star player and 5 squad players to add to the 16 man squad we have now . Imo this puts us in a much better position to the start of next season than this season . We use the tv money for the banks so there should be no reason why the money we get from sales wont be used for buying players . We just need to get a manager who can package all these toghether and get the players playing good winning football

And like I say, Howard is the better keeper, but Mucha has done nothing wrong. Yet.

The thing with Mucha is not he hasnt done anything wrong just that without Jags and Howard you are missing 2/5 of a back line and while Howard hasnt had the best season the benefits of a consistent defence mean that at least everyone should know their jobs and what they are doing.

Cant wait for Jags to get back to be honest.

This is incorrect. We conceded the exact same type of goals we have been all season with Howard in nets.

It's not incorrect nor is it a fact. However Howard has more respect and obviously communicates a lot better than Mucha. Without doing anything awful YET! Mucha is dodgy as...

Is right. We miss Jags more than Howard I reckon.

Look stend has got a point- if we do sell Fellaini for decent money and dont lose anyone else. Reinvest the £££m's in a few decent players we could be in a much better position with the squad than we are now.

If this season has shown us anything its that we need more depth to maintain any kind of standard over an entire season.

Ageing, small squad though?

Jagz 30

Hibbo 32

Distin 35

Osman 31

Neville 36!

Pienaar 30

Howard 34

Dont think ageing is a problem except for re-sale value. Distin looks amazing every week and still is lightning quick, Jags is quality too.

I think Neville should hang his boots up in the summer though, its just time sadly.

Villa where 3rd in the table at the time? O'neill.

A home cup win against a team that finished 6th is one of your FOUR pointers to the argument that we win big games , can you not see that as an indicator of the weakness of your point mate ? Do you think we can think of more than four different points that we bottle them ?

It is incorrect. We've conceded goals from set pieces all season. And we did again against Wigan.

As for the other two goals, can you tell me what he did wrong on them? Nothing.

We've gone off point here.

In theory you are right. Sell Fellaini, and I don't know one blue who wouldn't now, and reinvest. It's whether or not we invest it well or are even allowed to invest it that worries me.

I agree with you Stend that Mucha didn't look too promising against Wigan as he was rooted to the spot for the goals, but I don't think that Howard (whilst being the better keeper) would have changed much. We might have lost 2-0 rather than 3-0 but the game was lost by the ten outfield players and manager rather than a second rate goalkeeper.

I think bill is in a strong position, he is hated already and has players that are older and favoured by the manager who is also on high wages, he could bring in an interim manager who we don't like and use him as a scape goat to get rid of a lot of the expensive and older favoured players and start a rebuilding with the younger players coupled with some of the first team pros that would be kept on like baines, jags, jelavic, vic, coleman, mirallas, piennar, gibson. We could have a rebuilding it might seem like a gamble but high wages gone extra money in experience and youth together, debt reduced and few new players. If results are going bad the interim manager takes the brunt and bk is seen to have attempted to do something in the interests of the club rather than doing nothing.
