They got knocked out by by the Faroe Islands. Argentina are still in it, though. Imagine getting them at home and seeing Maradonna grace GP. Now that is a match I'll fly back to the UK for.

Mate of mine works in Macclesfield. He reckons half the population is either the product of incest, or on smack, or both. And the other half is 'old money' from the 'silk mines'.
Not many decent pubs - least worst I've found is an outsized Weatherspoons.

For my sins I have to spend a lot of time in Macclesfield and it's half full of wannabee Cheshire set nobs. Wall to wall 4x4's, Mercs and other fancy cars. The other half is wall to wall bling and fag ash.
I really don't like the plac at all. The ground is on Moss Lane on the fringe of the Moss Rose estate which is a real tip.
Perhaps they will switch to Goodison, the ground's tiny.
There is a decent pub just opposite the station at Waters Green, can't remember what it's called but it serves decent beer and great home made chips.

Sounds about right. Last few times I've been there was on weekdays when the Cheshıre set were absent and the local parks all boasted contingents of shell suits in various stages of intoxication. Only bling I saw was special brew cans.
