Problem with Silva is that although he improved Hull they still went down, and he's obviously proved that if he got us in a good position by Xmas and a big club came knocking he'd down tools.

The fact that Hull went down said more about their stature than Silva's.

In Silva's eyes, we obviously are a big club where he could build his reputation.

I think the key to Big Sam's future is identification of the next Manager . Moshiri sure wont embarrass himself again by appointing another high profile manager this summer only to fire him again by dec 2018 . If Everton do not find the suitable long term candidate this window , I think we may stick with Sam for one more year .... I dont think we will do the mistake of appointing a "world class " manager again . So no to Emerys of this world who come from CL giant Teams . Also i dont think we will take the risk of giving the job to a new guy like Arteta . So we need to find a young aspiring manager who has shown signs of promise .MArco Silva is the only name which Springs to my mind ...
The only ones who thought that Koeman was a "high profile manager" were the people who hired him. They saw Koeman one of the best defenders of all time and thought "well hey, even tho he was a mess before coming to the Premier League and almost got sacked last year by Southampton before they 'figured' it out MUST be a great manager!".

They never saw his falling out with players, his clueless team selection and his streaks of going 10+ matches without wins a season.

If he had anything about him he could of built his reputation at Watford but he couldnt hack it, we have allready blown millions on flavor of the month Martinez followed by Koeman, last thing we need is another 6 month manager

But not big enough for him to resign to join us.And if he'd done well with us and Arsenal had come calling he'd have sat on his hands like he did at Watford.

He won't be with us past this season. Come next August he'll be on a sun-loungers with a pint of wine, shrimps and a big fat bank account
Have you read his book? It starts by the pool with our man contemplating a dragonfly buzzing over the water. Very evocative.

Everton have sent me a letter yesterday and have tonight sent me a text asking me to renew my season ticket.

I always leave it late to renew and never got bombarded like this last year.

Think it’s clear that we’re struggling to shift the same amount of season tickets. I think Fat Sam is playing a big part in people not renewing early.

Just got that myself! Announce Fonseca and give Sam the Bullet and it will be done immediately. Just Meathead the Bullet will be enough for now.
