Standard required for what? If we're taking the u21 players who have had games in our first eleven then you could argue;
Kenny
Holgate
Vlasic
Lookman
DCL
Baningime
Davies
etc etc have all shown the capability to perform in an 'above average' capacity in the premier league.
When you then take in to account the circumstances of their development and rapid progression in most cases it's a very different learning curve to a 22 year old (2-4 years older) at Man City for example.
At this present moment in time, we don't know what level these Evertonian players will reach, it is impossible to say. However game time and experience are said to increase the productivity and improvement of development cycles.
If we take the case of Alan Shearer, he had a handful of goals at the same age as DCL and his stock only rose during a summer youth tournament, however someone like Beckham was already showing huge ability as was Neville at a similar age to some of our kids....
Of course they could plateau as well....we don't know.
The point I'm trying to make is that if you take any of these players individually they could get games for most sides in the league...at a very young age. Also, I don't believe you (or anyone) can discount the potential of players or groups of players as weve seen with Moyes, Royle and even if you look at Leicester that the sum of a teams parts can be greater as a whole...
Its really impossible to know how these individuals and group can develop together but they need as much experience as can benefit them to give them every chance.
I've always liked you Zat but you've gone dead bonkers recently.
