wasn't it to do with having a tv show over there on prime time Chinese telly?

In amongst the usual tripe and bollix from Suntan:

“We have a fantastic relationship with Chang and we are about to announce an interesting project in China which is commercially very lucrative for us."

Very lucrative eh?

Likes the idea of a 39th game & says there is no chance of redeveloping Goodison.

I'm glad he's our chief exec

The Chinese became interested when they seen Phil Neville's tweets, where he said 'we were going to skin 11 black cats on Saturday'.

I like the way he says Everton are concentrating on local stuff rather than international 'possibilities'. Probably wise given that on his watch Everton have continued to fall off the face of the earth PR-wise.

Good ole Bob. Onward and upward.

If you asked him where they want the club to be in ten...no, five years time, he wouldn't be able to give you an answer.

In an out of town shopping centre car park developed on land "gifted" by a local authority with an imaginary enabling cross subsidy being "paid" for by our "partners".

That's the dream anyways.

I see that look of shame and embarrassment in your eyes Bob. Still, a job's a job eh...?

Credit were its due like:

THE last time Bill Kenwright organised free coach travel for Everton FC fans, he got his fingers burned.

In 2004 the Blues chairman forked out £19,800 to allow 30 coachloads of fans to travel to Fulham for an FA Cup fourth round replay.

They lost in extra time.

But that didn’t stop the romantic old dreamer repeating the gesture this week – and this time he was spectacularly rewarded.

The backing the Blues received at the Stadium of Light on Tuesday was memorable. One poetic scribe colourfully described the scene on the away end after Everton’s second goal as “exploding like an angry blue sea.â€

There’s no doubt that the support in Sunderland contributed to Everton’s outstanding performance.

The gesture cost the club £40,000 in monetary terms.

The Wembley semi-final will reap far more than that – and will also win plenty of friends and admirers.

Kenwright has already had his reward.

The noisy fans sandwiched in the middle of the Stadium of Light’s Main Stand who looked up to salute him at the final whistle were met with that familiar breast beating gesture of a man who looked about to explode with emotion.

The Blues chairman will take his club to Wembley for a third time on April 14.

And that’s a prize that money can’t buy.

*Cancels march - for now!
