Blue Union members were stating there would be no buys and most likely a big name sale, neither of which was true. They were wrong, i don't see why that's such a big deal for either side to accept.

I don't think anybody is really saying that the board have done swimmingly or that this should be enough to satisfy fans, but it is a clear improvement over the last couple of windows, let's try and be happy with that instead of moaning eh ?

i support the b u .i have been saying there would be money all along for a forward ,and acouple of loan deals ,dont know what your getting at royston lad

No mate, that's the level of your expectations. I expect a lot better than seling to buy.

You expected several cash signings? And therefore increased debt and a more precarious financial position?

My expectations are realistic.

Bily did have a big name though.

I expect the gormless bastards in the boardroom to do a little more than allow the manager to spend what he brings in. They've had long enough to do better.

I refuse to give them any credit for simply passing money on that they never generated in the first place.

It's a low bar some people are setting for these chancers.

Not saying this with any agenda in mind (well I have many agendas but that's not why I'm asking): What's our net spend for this year now? I know numbers are a little hazy but any rough estimates out there? Wages would be interesting too. (Apologies if this is lurking in another thread somewhere and I missed it.)

It depends by what you mean by Year?

Do you mean 2012, if so then I think we have a net spend of around 1m.

If you mean 2011-2012, then we have a net spend of around minus 25m.

I've read the transcript of Bill's meandering psychedelic surrealist interview with the BU, the emails from Ross & Co about paranoia and madhouse etc, and watched Bill's left field accusation of betrayal when asked a few questions as he lurched out of his car at 12.30.

Anyone that believes he single handedly sorted the Piennar deal is taking similar ****.

blah blah blah the fact that we were good in the 80s doesn't mean we're entitled to Cristiano Ronaldo, we did alright this transfer window for what we are
