Well, I disagree.

If we continually allow separate posts then it renders this thread pointless - and this thread was cried for.

I've updated the thread title to prevent any further confusion.

If there's ever any doubt - PM us and we'll decide whether it's ground-breaking enough to warrant a separate point of discussion. The almost weekly statement from Everton, Elstone, BU or anyone else isn't.

Fair enough mate.

Why isnt this stickied FFS??????

Anyway.

Credit where credit is due.

Kenwrong and Moyes pulled rabbits out of hats this Window.

We paid buttons for Gibson, now im not gonna say hes Messi, he aint, hes hardworking, but he does appear to go AWOL in matches, but hes a rusty and I always said he should be judged after 6months, longer for foreign players. But the early signs are promising, he sits and allows Fellaini freedom, nothing flashy, but I like what I see from the lad, could be a decent signing.

Jellyhead has come from Scotland, so will need a lot of time to adapt or maybe he will just hit the ground running, either way, he does appear to have a decent pedigree and seems as tho ive never seen him play, time will tell.

And of course the welcome return of Pienaar, who as a former Player of the Season, his quality speaks for itself, hopefully we will have agreed some sort of buying price, cos it will be a shame to lose him again at the end of the Season.

Most of this was offset by the sale of Billy, who sadly wasnt able to play Premiership football.

But yeah, I just wanted to give credit when the Board doing things right, its only fair.

What..No hidden white text??? You've changed x

Is right though.

Reading bluekipper, they are pissed because the arteta money has gone missing, do they not realise the more debt we pay off the better? People keep saying about the bigger picture, but no one seems to understand it.

And yes credit where credit is due kenwright did great last night, he negotiated a deal which everyone thought wasnt happening, including the tottenham chairman

Look at it in the round: summer window brought £20M+ slashing of the squad followed by this January window when money generated was recycled. The directors and CEO of this football club should hang their heads in shame for their performance since 2009. And that includes this transfer window.

Let's leave Bill and the board alone now. They've got us a couple of players, they've answered the fans calls for investment. BU should just pack up and forget about it all.

He created the conditions whereby Pienaar had to be sold in the first place.

Was a good window even though there was no net spend. I think the reason that people are angry about the Arteta/Beckford/Yak/Pienaar/Vaughan money is that none of it has been used for transfers, even though Kenwright said that some of it will be made available. Now, if it's been made available and just not spent, we'll never know, however I'm confident that no one is pocketing it, so it's either used for a just cause like overdraft or to make sheets nicer to look for our new Chinese overlords or whatnot. It might enable us to make some of our loan signings, or maybe even each, permanent come summer. If we'd have the same squad in the start of the next season I'd be rather ok with it. Put in a new creative midfielder, maybe get rid of Neville, Cahill and Distin and get young replacements in and we'd be good to go without much more investment.

No Dave, they could have spent nothing, we as fans expected that.

But Moyes has asked for players and for once hes got "some".

Dont worry, I still think they are parasites, but I suppose after 2 and a hlaf Years im just happy we have sniny new players.
