Davek is right about Bill. He's a hard nosed businessman holding out for his dollar.

He looks like a [Poor language removed], but if he was a [Poor language removed] he wouldn't be where he is.

And if you think that's stupid, check this : the only way he'll leave, is if the media turn on him. If there was a way of educating the media on what the fans know, and a small few are brave enough to use their power and actually report it, we might possibly, maybe, stand a chance.

We'll make ourselves poor trying to fight him the conventional way. Gotta think outside the box.

Tell me I'm wrong. Please.

You are completely right, he is a grade 1 tosser.

It's also hard for the heterosexuals amongst us to appreciate the compelling personal magnetism that the guy exudes to large sections of our fanbase, leading them to ignore and deny his repeated many failures. We need to find a way to combat this.

It's funny how the same fans that campaigned against the Kirkby move at the time are now using it as a way of saying 'look at all these things Kenwright has messed up' and are now gutted it didn't happen.

No offence mate, but I think you've missed the point there slightly.

They're not gutted it didn't happen; they're trying to point out that they told him in the first place that it wouldn't be possible to do, that it didn't make sense and that it wasn't good enough. Moving out of the city was obviously not well-liked by a number of people, but it wasn't just that. The stadium design itself was so poor and cheap, it was in a ridiculous location without any kind of decent transport infrastructure planned, and it was always doomed to failure, even if the fact that it was 'outside the city' hadn't been an issue.

It's all besides the point anyway. The crux of it all is that people keep telling him the correct things to do and he keeps ignoring them, and thus he keeps making dreadful mistakes. If he's making these mistakes, like not having any plan in place to generate funds for the club to operate in the meantime, then the club is simply going to degenerate. Not signing a player for a transfer fee for nearly 3 years is the first stage. Next stage is that the next set of accounts at the end of the season/summer will report heavy pre-tax losses (approximately £14m+, based on the fact there is no Bellefield training ground to sell this year and include in the accounts). Final stage will be Moyes' inevitable departure and the club's eventual relegation. The signs are already there that the current board are not running the club properly.

If you arrived home from work, and you noticed an orange glow in all the front windows of your home, and there was heat and smoke billowing out of your front door, would you simply say, "I'll wait until the house explodes before I get concerned and ring 999?" Because that is basically what people who don't see any urgency in forcing Kenwright to drop his asking price and be far more transparent with his selling of the club are doing. Things do not have to be this way, and certainly don't have to end up the way they will inevitably end up.

as I've said before I'm neither a BK or a BU supporter. (Whilst appreciating the concept of the BU some of their carry on has been an embarrassment.) However to generate more support for the removal of the disgrace that is our current board if 'people' involved with the BU have proof of the claims they make, which I'm not denying or agreeing with because i haven't seen anything one way or the other, then publish it. Make it available for EVERY evertonian to see. Once the evidence is layed down in black and white for all to see then, and only then, will the pro Bill blues begin to change their outlook.

The BU would be better off bombarding multiple news outlets simultaneously to run stories on everything they can prove as legal fact about Bill's failings. The board can't own everyone can they?

It's a cracking story when you think about it, an exclusive if you like. They only ever run stories on 'Moyes miracles on a shoestring..' and 'Why won't anyone buy Everton..'.

Bizarre.

The first step would be to get all of the sexy pictures like this taken down:

The BU would be better off finding a billionaire who wants to buy us.

If they think they have a mandate to remove the current owner, they can ****ing well find us a replacement.

See that's actually a good idea mate.

No doubt though, that's not likely to happen.

It's about putting pressure on him mate.

But what if their actions, designed to put pressure on him, actually make the club less attractive? Making Bill look like an idiot hardly helps sell the club in any way.

By undermining Bill, his negotiating position is weakened. We all know he is negotiating for top dollar (for his own and his backers' benefit), so it's hardly sensible to act in a manner which potentially reduces the value of the club.

By all means call for change, campaign for fresh investment/change of ownership but don't make the sale more difficult by weakening an already seemingly expensive and not particularly attractive proposal.

maybe some should try starting a anti kenwriht chant before kick off and after the game?

i think if enough of the supporters sang he might just click on to the fact we aint happy!

and if he is this real true blue that he says he is then nothing will open his eyes more than goodison condemning him!

Completely agree mate, although I will say that the Blue Union have already been doing this. They published a newsletter last November that had everything written down in black and white. They have been holding regular meetings as I'm sure you know (next one is Wed Jan 25th at the Casa bar in town, 7pm start). Unfortunately, the local media are extremely reluctant to give them any coverage at all, which is a scandal in and of itself. The local media (Post & Echo) is fighting to survive itself; the Post is going from a daily to a once a week paper soon because of declining sales and loads of journos are getting made redundant. The ones left working at the Echo don't want to rock the boat too much because they don't want to upset the club and lose their jobs. The Echo relies on access to the club for interviews and stories so that they can sell papers. The Club is the oxygen to the Echo; without the Club, the Echo is in the proverbial poo.

It's really difficult for the Blue Union to win over hearts and minds and be victorious in a PR Battle 'gunfight' when only armed with a knife, so to speak.
