Yeah, but that doesnt really answer the question.

What nasty and evil things have they done?

From an outsiders view, the worst thing they have done is let that utter baffoon Manager keep his job.

What else they doing?

It does answer the question, but only if you bother to look at the resources I mentioned.

However, just for you...

They came in and sacked a perfectly good manager with little to no justification. They then appointed a novice and have stuck with him despite repeated calls for him to leave and a truly awful record. This includes the clubs own employees - said employees have then been shown the door. See: John Williams, Tom Finn.

They've established links with SEM/Kentaro, and have shacked up with super agent Jerome Anderson. Jermone has proceeded to stick his fingers into every piece of the Rovers pie and make huge money off of the club. Ruben Rochina was bought for £400k, £1.6M further went to agents. Formica was bought for £3.5m, yet somehow the overall fees ended up at £10m once agents fees are accounted for. We also bought Myles Anderson, Jerome's son, who is a total dud and had done nothing to prove he deserved a place in professional football, let alone a premiership club. He's made 0 appearances to date and Kean reckons he's "the next Chris Smalling". Daddy Jerome probably agrees.

Venky's categorically said Phil Jones would NOT be sold. He then was sold.

Venky's and Kean claimed we had "the biggest transfer budget in years" and would spend big. Venky's made a net profit during the summer.

Venky's have treated sponsors so badly we were unable to get a sponsor for this season, and a number of current sponsors are in revolt. Two have written a letter supporting the protesters.

Venky's promised to remove our debt and put money into the club. They proceeded to not clear our original £23m debt, and have taken out a 100M MORTGAGE on the club that guarantees the bank all future TV revenue. This is where our money for Scott Dann came from. Venky's also took out a mortgage in January, which partially paid for our signings. Phil Jones was sold to pay this off.

Below is Venky's promise to the fans and the Trust upon completion of purchase:

"The Venky’s board gave assurances that they: a) would commit funds on a consistent and systematic basis to future transfer and/or loan activity.

b) intended to continue to support the existing management team and staff, and that it is committed to the future development of, and investment in, the club’s academy and youth infrastructure.

c) would continue to support, promote and extend the club’s local community and CSR activities.

d) would seek to extend the Blackburn Rovers name and brand into India, the rest of south east Asia and beyond.

e) would seek to develop and improve commercial performance across sponsorship, the club’s kit deal and general merchandising.

f) would seek to enhance the fan experience on matchdays and to maximise season ticket sales and any remaining matchday ticket sales.

g) intended to improve the club’s media platforms and to become more active in the social media space."

There are a number of stories being sat on by 3 or 4 national journos that will come out at some point in the future. These issues could result in points deductions or worse for the club, but they can't be aired in public yet.

Draw your own conclusions as to how well they've kept these promises.

Madness mate.

Fans on here were going mental when Venkys took you over.

What I just posted is the tip of the iceberg, there's plenty more.

Rovers fans were cautiously optimistic when Venky's took over. They seemed to be genuine, and the general opinion was "anything has to be better than a slow death under the Trust".

Be careful what you wish for...

Still not as bad as Kenwrong.

This sounded familar tho :

Wow.

Good to have you here roverfan.

Please stick round and ignore any bait.

Thanks mate, I'll be sticking around for as long as this takeover business rumbles on, at least. Very interested to see how this turns out... for all of my warnings, if the Qatari group take your club over you will be sorted for the foreseeable future IMO. I am devastated Venky's have told them to get lost.

As I said mate, I'm skimming the surface here. Far worse things that will at some point come out and likely make us the next Pompey/Leeds.

Head up mate - won't be that bad. They deserved it - spending beyond their means. Particularly Portsmouth.

You'll spend in January.

Latest news is that this takeover business has caused deep divisions in the Rao family. Balaji has basically been told it's all his... Mrs Desai and her husband want nothing to do with Rovers and have wanted out since last season. If we spend anything it will either be on the back of player sales (Hoilett, Olsson) or out of a mortgage/loan facility. Both scenarios fill me with dread - we fans are going to keep fighting though. It's all we can do.

You can console yourself with your Premiership trophy.

Dont mind Blackburn really, so hopefully you sack that clown and get a good Manager in soon.

The Uncle Jack days seem a long way away mate... he'll be spinning in his grave right now :( Kean is going nowhere as long as Venky's are in charge. He's a Jermone Anderson/SEM client. He knows too much to be fired.

Yak bobby banging em in too.

Wished we had a goalscorer hehe

A lazy bugger, that Yakubu. Got the scoring instinct, but we need more.

Protest Again?

I was wondering does anybody know if the BU are doing a march ahead of our Home game with Wolves on Saturday?

Not heard anything myself apart from on sky sports news website. Any confirmation?
