I've always thought, without the technical players like Arteta and Peanuts, we would struggle.

Not this much though.

Remember the Villa game. An you all clapped like fucking lemmings.

Are you fucking happy now?.

You reap what you sow!!!!

Call yourselves EVERTONIANS. get to the protest next sat. might be your last chance.

Make no bones, were in real trouble.

Embarrassing the way you clapped that twat.

i thought I'd read the most tittish post on here yesterday. you sir have outdone even that. get the other lads in your union to pat you on the back. well done.

*stands and applauds*

"Killer Bill K" prepares for combat !!!

We've played the best of what the league has had to offer mate, i think its more about tough fixtures then being badly gash to be honest.

Compare our results in the same fixtures in previous years to those this season after not spending any money on a first team player for 2 years.

Considering we have previously picked up points against the same teams quite why now we are suddenly rolling over and not seemingly bothered about taking nul point i'm not too sure.

But then we have them all to play again mate, we generally dont beat them in the two.

We had had great records against City and Chelsea away, although we hadn't won at Stamford Bridge for years. Eventually those records were going to end. Chelsea are far more attacking under Villas Boas and City are a much stronger team than they were even last season.

Results compared:

QPR - 10/11 NA 11/12 Loss
Blackburn - 10/11 Loss 11/12 Win
Villa - 10/11 Draw 11/12 Draw
Wigan - 10/11 Draw 11/12 Win
City - 10/11 Win 11/12 Loss
Shoite - 10/11 Win 11/12 Loss (Hardly fair)
Chelsea - 10/11 Draw 11/12 Loss
Fulham - 10/11 Draw 11/12 Win
United - 10/11 Draw 11/12 Loss
Newcastle - 10/11 Win 11/12 Loss

In four of the fixtures we've done as well or better than we did last season. In the others we lost against Chelsea, City and United, and were cheated against Liverpool. We played poorly against QPR and Newcastle.

It's really not that bad at all, even if we'd kept Arteta and Beckford i wouldn't have seen us beating the two Manchester clubs and Chelsea. We've managed to get 1 less win than we had at this point last season with a weaker team and against tougher opponents.
