Mandelson owns 21% of Global Counsel, a lobbying firm which counts Palantir as a client. He does not own 21% of the company which owns Palatir.

The conflict of interest is still outrageous.

No worries. I just saw it and thought "that doesn't seem right". Palantir is worth hundreds of billions of dollars, and Mandelson certainly isn't, the grubby little twohat.

What's the worst crime here? The appointment of Mandy to a job that's largely ceremonial anyway? Or his appointment to the Cabinet back in the day - in which position he basically spied for a crooked financier during an economic crisis?
