Hear hear! Oh Jeremy Corbyn! It makes you yearn for Jeremy Corbyn…. The Prime Minister we should have had
Instead, we're heading for Reform. You think things are bad now?

I've a prediction.Trying to see through the whole horrific, on so many levels, situation the problem for Labour is this.
They are going to get annihilated in the May elections. So after that will be the time they move out Starmer and get a reset leader. If they get rid of him early the new leader gets landed with May shellacking. Also there is the Rachel Reeves conundrum. Although the budget was in November, due to the financial year only starting in April, all the changes only really start to show July/August. If the economy is still flatlining Rachel can’t go back to the country a third time saying this time it will definitely work. No one will be listening.
A new leader in summer gets a new chancellor as part of the reset.
If they get rid and a new leader comes in March/April who then gets rid of Reeves and the economy does start to pick up it’s another s£&tshow.
They may say remember the victims but professional politicians will never change.
PS-for all those who are hoping for the truth to come out always remember Sir Humphrey Appleby’s take on inquiries.
Never ever ask a question unless you already know the answer.
and when he started his political career in the early 80s, I cant remember that well but would being gay still be something that would have le him to being susceptible to being compromised? The Russians are good at that and it was a part of the Cambridge spy ring thangReading the emails and I think Mandleson himself was most likely a Russian asset.
He fits the profile perfectly of somebody they’d look to exploit. Power hungry, horny, careless, easily bought.
I find it hard to believe that during his 30 years at the top of politics he hasn’t said the wrong thing, to the wrong person and found himself compromised.
Disgusting little weasel.
that may be the case but I think mad Ange may be right for the Labour Party next. Farage is looming and reckon mad Ange would be adept at tackling him in a non conformist way, a traditional politician would struggle as Farage, like trump, is quite good at getting their (fcked up) message across. Ange's more brutal method may be the way to deal with it. Then we can hope for Burnham tomorrow come along afterwards to tidy up the messThe problem is that if Angela Rayner takes his place (and I, for one, would vote for her) she is going to be just as crucified by the Tory press, TV and social media as Jeremy Corbyn was.
(Whatever happened to Ken Loach's party?)
The bootlickers mentality… they love a rich person telling them the way to thinkAmazing how much unrelenting fire the left come under when they're in the wrong compared to the Tories, almost like the "boys will be boys" attitude is prevalent in politics too. Not dismissing how poor Starmer is for one moment by the way.
Constantly thinking trickle down economics will reach them and they can be one of them one day.The bootlickers mentality… they love a rich person telling them the way to think

Probably on to something there.I've a prediction.
There's a load of epstein files been kept back. The release of this alleged last* tranche has very specifically clobbered both mandelson and starmer. A lot want mcsweeney. There's just enough rope being given here, if they get starmer then does any other pal of epstein also walk the plank later? or rather, a pal given a job by a pm where the pal was in contact with epstein... or others (maxwell, mountbatts, any other found to be offender...)
As for the economy, it's trudging along, the energy market is the mill stone. streeting/rayner/reeves/Burnham? I'd like Burnham held back just in case the reform landslide happens and the country needs supergluing back together after 6 months of anarchy.
He took the job after the previous government had tanked the country. If he takes the fall and a load of the baggage associated with him is removed then that would be a good thing. He was damned before he even started.I think Starmer has done ok.
I'll get me coat.
Maybe the £240m single source contract given to Palantir last week after lobbying by Mandlesons own company. What's the worst crime here? The appointment of Mandy to a job that's largely ceremonial anyway? Or his appointment to the Cabinet back in the day - in which position he basically spied for a crooked financier during an economic crisis?
I notice Gordon Brown got his apology in nice and early!
Which involves Epstein how? (See thread title).Maybe the £240m single source contract given to Palantir last week after lobbying by Mandlesons own company.
That’s before getting into whether as US military intelligence and strategic advisory contractor should be handed all our NHS data anyway.
Incidentally Palantir was funded by Theil who just so happens to be pals with you know who, and apparently co-invested in several tech startups together.
