I've already lost two housecarls in battle. Sending the chicks in to do my dirty work is obviously not their forte.

Have now decided to get married for the money, have got my eyes on the bard from the inn in Dawnstar. She's got a rack and a half, looks like filth.

That is basically the criteria I used. However, I ended up with Aela. By far the leader in filth in the game.

Appropriately for GOT you're able to shack up with other men. I could go and find myself a big muscle mary and pretend I'm RFUS.

Can housecarls actually be killed by enemies?

I thought they could only be knocked down - the death blow has to be made by the player (usually an accidental firebolt to the head). I could be wrong though.

Mine have never died - Lydia mysteriously vanished ON OUR FIRST QUEST. It still hurts.

I was engaged to Belrand, the hunky nord who bears more than a passing resemblance to Terry Nutkins.

I jilted him at the alter and shacked up with some buxom warrior chick instead.

He came to the wedding though, which made me laugh. Just him and some random.

Oh, in that case it probably was me with an errant firebolt. Poor housecarl. I've got a handy sidekick now, that and the Sanguine Rose mean I don't have to fight much any more.

I'm fascinated with this thread. A game I'll never play, but I feel like I'm involved somehow

Who's winning?
