Read he had been in hospital and it wasn't looking good. Heat is one of my favourite movies of all time and his character in that is a big part in the overall greatness of it.
Bit of a wild man off screen too from all accounts, as all Hollywood stars should be.

The Blackpool fan who was attacked outside a bar in Blackpool after the Burnley match on Saturday has now died. RIP and thoughts with his family.
I may be wrong but I think the first death at a football match in the UK was also a Blackpool v Burnley game sometime around the mid 70’s.
The words “ death at a football match” just seem unreal. And should be.

Went to see Lynyrd Skynyrd at Liverpool Empire, Must have only been a month or so before the plane crash. They were my favourite group at the time and he was probably my favourite band member. Didn't realise they were all gone now. Very sad.
