Alan Lancaster, founding bassist of UK rock greats Status Quo, has died in Sydney, Australia, age 72, following a battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

…Norman Gard passed away yesterday at his home in Portugal.
Not a familiar name, but Norman worked for the Toffees (and Reds) for many years as translator & player liaison officer. Such was his personality a host of players remained close friends after their time on Merseyside was finished. The likes of Bob the Pole was still constantly in touch.
Norman was a passionate Evertonian & made no secret of this with Red players but was just as popular with them. He was terrific company and many ex-players and officials will be mourning his loss as will those of us who knew him.
