Actually I did know his wife, Nesta. For a couple of years I was Chairman of the PTA at the school our kids went to and she was on the PTA Committee. Lovely lady.

That's sad news to start the day. He seemed like a lovely man and a good sport. Covid going through our 80's entertainers by the seem of things. RIP

Sad, funny guy, Cannon and Ball in their pomp were funny and still doing the rounds until covid hit the theatres.

seen them recently in panto, they were great, funny, cheesy and all the age groups that were there found him funny. Very sad, RIP funny man.

I remember at the time I could recite the whole team, couldn't tell you one of them in the current England team never mind the Welsh one, yes what a side that was.

I'm a few days late with this but Viola Smith, she was probably the first professional female drummer and she was bloody good and very underrated. She died a few days back at the grand old age of 107!
