He was a tough guy. He could really punch as well as box but Hagler, although we didn’t know it at the time, was a class above. Shameful night for British boxing in the aftermath of that fight.
Minter definitely met his match that night, but no shame in that Hagler was one of the best boxer's ever.
its really sad it’s the first thing we thing about now with minter , not him as a boxer , his record or even the fight but the build up and aftermath .

The Avengers is currently being shown on ITV4 in the mornings. They have weird and quirky plots ; today's was about a killer nanny. lol Diana Rigg sports a fine array of 60s fashion.
