I used to like browsing in the Habitat shop in St Johns market.

Design that was aesthetically pleasing, as well as being functional.

Absolutely. I didn't realise until reading his wiki page today that he had a hand in saving (edit: the building) what is now Bibendum, which is probably the nicest looking restaurant in London.

Just to add his achievements as a jockey were fantastic but his biggest legacy may will be the money he has raised for cancer charities and cancer awareness since his diagnosis. He knew his own fate but didn't stop his charity work . A gentleman.

Vinnie roe also gave him some huge wins.
And here at the big festival at galway he used have 8 or 9 winners every year.

What a fantastic voice he had, sad news.

Saw him live more than any other band/group/whatever. He played at q local place where I grew up, could only hold about 100 people, tops. Enjoyed a few .... Things with him on the tour bus. Genuinely a great singer and always nice to the fans and audience.
