The late Annie Ross, about 6 weeks too late Summers I remember her in 'Budgie' with Adam Faith many years ago.

She had a really husky voice I seem to recall.

Simeon Coxe of Silver Apples has died aged 82. I was lucky enough to see Silver Apples play live back in the '90's in a pub in Leicester. "The Simeon", a home-built rig of 9 different oscillators, controlled by hands, feet and elbows, was a thing to behold. Nobody else made a noise quite like them, Danny Taylor (RIP)'s funkified drumming adding even more oddness to the mixture. True pioneers of electronic music.
