Very sad. Young fella. Has been a tea-time telly presence in our house for years. RIP.

Didn’t realise he was that old. Always seemed a very personable fella on TV.

Used to enjoy watching Granada Reports back in the day: Bob Greaves, Lucy Meacock, Fred The Weatherman and Stewart Hall.

Actor and raconteur Bill Wrimbley, the voice of Kermit the Frog, has passed away peacefully at the ripe old age of 96.

Just seen the tribute on BBC North West, he seemed like a lovely guy, sad news.

I still watch north west news on bbc down here every evening at 10.30 on bbc, but don’t get see see Granada reports, sadly.
