Still sad at Miller's demise and now Clive James has gone. Both very witty men.

Clive James did a TV series in the eighties called "Postcards From,,,,," in which he presented a docu-style travel show about various places. The one on Paris was sublime, funny and very moving, as he had stayed in Paris as a student and obviously adored the place. It's worth checking out on YouTube.
He was the Stephen Fry of his day, tremendously intelligent and witty man, part of the big fringe scene of the early sixties that went on to be big in the theatre and comedy world.
Clive was a poet as well. Recently published a collection of his verse. I like his Japanese Maple.

My only tip is a drop of Olbas in a sink of boiling water, get the head down, cover it over with a towel and breathe deeply while dreaming of Everton winning a trophy.
