Gary was one of the first chefs I remember doing TV. Clearly he wasn't just a TV chef though as he was head chef at a resort in Dubai when he died

My over riding memory of Gary's show was the fact he put copious amounts of butter in everything. He'd have plopped a lump of it in the middle of a salad if he could have gotten away with it lol

If he did of a coronary then this bit of information will ring very true.
