....looked her up because the name was familiar. That is very sad news.
Crikey that is sad news, I'm sure she was presenting very recently.

Really shocking. I noticed she hadn't been on North West Tonight for at least a couple of weeks, and was only wondering where she was the other day. It's very sad. She was only relatively young at 51 and always came across really well with a great sense of humour.

I remember her when she used to present with Simon Mayo on Radio 1 many years ago. Used to see her doing the weather on North West Tonight when I came back to Merseyside. Did she have an illness?
