Used to call our mam Hilda. Looked a bit like her and used to sing like her for a laugh.
She bumped into Jean while on a shopping trip to southport a couple of years ago, and they posed for a photo together.
She's still got it as her phone screensaver.

I always loved the three flying ducks in the walls and the way it was supposed to symbolise " working class " lack of taste.
Didn't they also have an extremely gaudy mural on the wall too, which is still in the same house today ?.

Thought it was really ironic when flying ducks became trendy and started appearing all over the place costing a fortune beacause some one like Cath Kidston made them !
