The dawn of a new era in Football

I think Mourinho is perfectly happy to play that way. It's the best chance they will have when faced with the likes of Barca, Real, City etc

He also will score tons of goals against the minnows. I know what you are saying but Lukaku is deadly and they have plenty of other players to create the goals. At least we will finally see Mata and Lukaku together which will be frightening.

It may not be beautiful football but I think Utd will win the lot next year.
No chance George, lukaku is not a massive step up from Ibrahimovich if a step up at all so no-way will Lindiloff prove the differance....they may buy others of course but so will everyone else....not at all impressed with UTD

I think Man City will win the league next year.

Can't be bothered checking but I'm sure a while back a similar thing happened
fees then slowed down
Maybe there is more players going for ridiculous money than years ago
John hartson a decent player but not top notch he had a couple of 7 million pound deals back then

We got £75M plus £15M with some easy targets apparently plus £10M Rooney. £100M and a really good deal tbh......

Hope the targets aren't league title wins, cause that ain't happening any time soon.... Even Top 4 isn't a given for them...

This is their first team

Lukaku
Mata Mkhitaryan Rashford
Pogba Herrara
Shaw Bailly Lindelof Valencia
De Gea

Plus they probably have the strongest squad and...... It's Mourinho's 2nd season. Unlike last year there's plenty of pace and Mkhitaryan and Pogba are used to the league and Mourinho. Lukaku will fit them like a glove.

Chelsea or City again...i think Spurs will drop back a bit this year..UTD for third and then a scramble from Us, spurs, liverpool and the Arse for the one remaining place in the Champions League...i don't think we're strong enough yet to get there, but if we continue on this path then who knows

He’s a step down from Ibrahimovic without doubt!

While us fools pay for Sky Sports and the rest of the world wants to pay the rights to the highest watched league in the world then it's only going to continue on it's upward spiral!
That's the problem though, the advertising industry pay for Sky et al and with the increase in streaming which they are increasingly powerless to prevent, the advertisers are beginning to go elsewhere. That is why clubs are intent on becoming independent from tv money, building stadia that generate income away from match days for instance. To all intents and purposes the bubble has not yet burst but it is beginning to deflate a little.
