Who's kidding themself? People are just expressing their own opinions on a subject related to Everton. It's a forum, that's what happens. Nobody is claiming to speak for anyone else.

Stop taking every negative comment about Moyes as a personal insult. Unless you are actually David Moyes, in which case, get a f*cking subby on.

I cant even be arsed listening to him droning anymore. 10 years of hearing how he's ambitious to win things, but never does; 10 years of hearing how he's hard done by on resources, but praises the board for backing him; 10 years of talking about squad building, but sells his players off when he's told to.

I think that on average the Everton fan appreciates what Moyes has done. If he leaves, he leaves and I would be sad to see him go. I think he has done a good job and sometimes I think people here on GOT are disillusioned on what they think we should be accomplishing. We are skint, we have a small squad, and we need to run a sell to buy model with our players. Not an easy situation to work in.

If we get investment or bought by someone with money I would give Moysey a year or two at the helm. If things don't improve then I would look for a manager that can improve the team. That's a fantasy scenario though.

I don't think there's an Everton fan around who doesn't appreciate what he did for us in years gone by, but living in the past is only for people who are too afraid to see the truth of the present. This is getting tiresome now, do you wish you where judged on the past three terms in your job, or over the 10 year period?

i'm just a realistic blue. seriously folks, would you not admit that 5 out of the six teams that finished above us last season actually had BETTER SQUADS/PLAYERS????????????? What is it you expect? a miracle worker?

I read somebody saying the other day that football managers don't criticise each other, and that any compliments should be taken with a pinch of salt. Yeah, that's probably true, but they don't vote for a manager of the year THREE TIMES because they are being diplomatic.

Let me see......All those managers voting Moyesie as manager of the year V's a shower of ****es. Hmm..Whose judgement should I place more faith in??

I'm realistic too mate.

I don't expect to splash the cash, win the league, get 4th or be in cup finals every year.

However, I do expect us to beat lower league teams in cup competitions at home, I do expect to beat sh*thouse local rival teams when we're the favourites to do so, I do expect us to take the Carling and F.A Cup seriously, and I DO expect a club like Everton not to be in 17th every pissing Christmas playing the most dogged anti-football you're likely to see outside of Stafford.

Not much to ask from the fourth most successful football club in English history, with a cracking (if thin) squad assembled by 3 time LMA greatest manager of all time David Moyes.

You're basically saying he should be judged long-term, not short-term, but three years is a very long time.

I can just picture people sitting in the stands on a freezing f*cking windy night at Goodison watching Tim Howard score the flukiest goal of all time and Bolton schooling us shrugging their shoulders saying:

I don't think Newcastle have a better squad than us, and they managed to be in and around the top 4 for a large part of last season. Nobody is expecting Champions League football, but the fans shouldn't be forced to sit through 4 of months of dreadful football against teams we should never be losing to. 4-1 West Brom at home anybody ?
