Your boys have twisted themselves in knots. Hardly any Tory MP will come out of this with rep intact. Let’s see what other strories about Johnson’s behaviour the press have been sitting on.

What's fascinating in politics, a bit like in football, there is a ludicrous currency being placed on what people perceive to being a winner.

Starmer has seen off Johnson. That will be the narrative. It doesn't matter how true it is, it will be what's cemented. His position has grown.

I find him unimpressive, but I also appreciate my personal view doesnt matter much in the eyes of the media/public who will see it differently.

Whoever takes over from Johnson are inheriting a sinking ship. Hard to turn around that momentum.

Doesn’t really matter now, Boris is done, the king is dead, long live the King or Queen…..

Starmer has seen off nobody except Corbyn. As is always the case, the Tories themselves have seen off the PM …..
