Ah so its a good thing hes still there then.he is deeply damaging the Conservative party.

And as been pointed out elsewhere, Johnson and his crass populism are driving political polarization to the extent where enough people are so partisan that they can excuse / deflect / cheerlead indefensible behaviour.Whatever you think of the conservatives as a party historically I think Johnson is so far removed from any of those values anyway - He is just a despicable human being and eventually it’ll all catch up with him.
Just like Starmers Beergate and Labour saying Rayner wasn’t even there. I’ve not seen one person on here to even suggest that he has done wrong, even though there was a photograph of him swigging beer and Rayner sat in the room…..
He's been shown to be a liar and completely untrustworthy and that attitude seeps through his party with a new scandal every week seemingly.
The PPE contracts are along the same lines of the profiteering during the war while families struggled to put bread on the table.
The only reason he hasn't gone is because they respect the voter so little that they think they can just lie and brush everything under the carpet as they scaremonger against the vision of the opposition.
literalThere were four on my dining room table tonight and the three of us weren’t having a party either…….
If he lied to the HoC he should go, but it seems to be the usual media hyperventilating so far…….
You have no comprehension of comparisons, and how to structure a reasoned, logical, premise in order to make a point. Quite simply, you are out of your depth in making point that would be instantly demolished in court, or in any legal wrangle.Boris had a glass of wine. Blair took us to war and the violent deaths of hundreds of thousands in Iraq on the back of his ‘WMD’ report. You compare Boris and a glass of wine to the Nazis and their atrocities across Europe for 6 years…yes, I can well see how todays media and social media would let the actual Nazis get away with it…….
You haven't a clue how to conduct an investigation, have you?I think if the Police report for that instance was released, and people in that room declared it was a party and that Boris didn’t just turn up to say goodbye then fair enough. His red box being centre stage suggests work either took place before or was about to take place immediately after.……

Not a clue...
I will, as soon as it’s proven….
This is just pure emotive political assumption. The Police actually investigated this instance and Boris did not get a fine. Now bearing in mind they were fining people all over the shop if he had broken the law he would have been fined, he wasn’t so he didn’t….
This is all true.I can’t even understand any individual defending Johnson anymore…guy is obviously a scumbag and not fit for high office, the people who adore him just simply don’t care. It’s a bit weird…but each to their own as it’s impossible for him to do much wrong in their eyes.
I’ve been a bit meh about the whole partygate thing by now because it just doesn’t surprise me at all that they broke their own rules, changed their story countless times, tried to cover up the report and the met seemingly half assed large parts of the inquiry.
If I had lost someone due to covid during that period and I saw that picture this evening I’d be apoplectic.
